One of the most popular and highly regarded actresses in the 1950s and 1960s, Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) foremost fashion icon and later a tireless humanitarian for UNICEF, world hunger awareness and clean water programs. Schooled in ballet and musical theater after surviving privation during WWII her career exploded cast as the lead in ROMAN HOLIDAY with Gregory Peck and winning her the Best Actress Oscar But one of her two iconic roles still lay ahead and that was the role of Holly Golightly in Truman Capote's BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. While the character most certainly was sanitized for the screen, the film proved a defining role playing to Hepburn's sophistication and high fashion style. Offered here is her signature, boldly signed in blue felt tip at bottom right of her famous portrait from the film, wearing the legendary "little black dress" by Hubert Givenchy and necklace by Roger Scemama.
