LE-ON-TI-NO-N, lion’s head, with jaws open and tongue protruding, facing left, four barley-corns around (SNG Lockett 800 (this obverse die); SNG ANS 234-6 (this obverse die)). Attractive iridescent cabinet tone, very fine.
