1800/798 NC-6 R6+ Overdate 800 over 798, Style I Hair Fair-2. Sharpness F12 or better but covered with light to moderate corrosion. No notable marks or verdigris. The obverse is medium chocolate brown while the reverse is mostly very dark olive brown and steel. The date and legends are complete but some elements are weak due to the roughness. Not a pretty cent but one of the sharpest known of this very rare die variety with only 18 examples recorded.
