1892 Barber Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 64. Lovely "bull's eye" toning. Note the gold patina in the centers deepening to electric blue iridescence at the borders. Only 1,245 struck this first year of issue. Many were mishandled because they were sold to non-collectors who bought them as novelties. Pop 88; 114 finer (PCGS # 5678) .
