1838 Capped Bust Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded MS-62. B-1. Choice for the grade. Mostly untoned. A subdued but still satiny coin, the last in the small size Bust quarter series, one that few no compromises with its rich originality and uncleaned appearance on both sides. Strike is much better than average for the 1838 date, although minor weakness occurs at the rim dentils and a few stars. Pop 11; 31 finer; 19 in 63; 8 in 64; 3 in 65; 1 in 66. (PCGS # 5357) .
