1891, $50 Silver Certificate. PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30, Rust Spots Painted Over at LL. . Fr-334. . KL-720. Although there is some minor restoration work on this $50 Silver, performed to cover up some rust stains on the face side, the overall appearance is not at all unappealing. High denomination large size notes are not common much finer. Pictured at the right side of the face is Edward Everett, who is perhaps best known for delivering a 2-hour oration shortly before Lincoln delivered his brief, 2-minute long Gettysburg Address.
