This beautiful example comes from the last 1,000 notes printed of this single-number design, many of which have survived in high grade to give collectors an opportunity to own this otherwise very scarce issue. Nice examples have been particularly difficult to locate in recent years, as the booming currency market has seen many examples find homes in closely held private collections--leaving a dearth of quality material in the marketplace.
