Lot 1922

1904. NGC graded MS-65. Lovely uniform golden toning. Tremendous eye-appeal for the focused collector from a very positive strike, which numismatists prefer better than wishy-washy detail; furthermore, the surfaces show beaming golden hues with cartwheel luster throughout. No need to worry about an unsuccessful strike left by the rebound of the dies that coined this, since even a cursory examination of the piece reveals nice clarity of detail, including the centers (PCGS # 9045) .
Estimated Value $3,200 - 3,400.

Realized $2,760
