1847 N-6 R1 MS63. Mint red toning down to steel brown, nearly half the original color remaining. There is a tiny tick in the field under the outer hairbun, a small spot of darker steel toning at the dentils right of star 11, and a swipe of darker steel toning at NITED. MDS, die state b. The repunching left of the base of the 4 is gone but the die line down from the dentils at star 6 is sharp. Tied for finest known honors with three other pieces. DWH #2063.
