15 Autographed Covers from Early Hollywood Greats Including Pickford, Fairbanks, Lloyd, Arliss, Hart, Dressler. For collectors of early cinema, an impressive collection of autographs signed on commemorative covers celebrating inaugural airmail services across the US. Multiple signatures on many including legends Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, Harold Lloyd in his beautiful had signed, inscribed and dated 1928, William S. Hart, George Arliss, Eddie Cantor, Jean Harlow (as usual, signed by her mother, Mama Jean), Anita Page, the great Marie Dressler, 2 covers signed by a myriad of talent from Mack Sennett Studios including Franklin Pangborn, Anton Lang, historic German actor known for his portrayal of Christ, Rudy Vallee, radio superstars Amos N' Andy, and a hit film, and one of the few pieces we have seen clearly signed by both as well as identifying their characters, Amos, Freeman Gosden and Andy, Charles Correll, Sir Harry Lauder, vaudeville and stage giant from Scotland and finally Dick Grace, the most celebrated stunt pilot in Hollywood history doing work for WINGS the first Best Picture Winner and well as numerous other films besides starring in his own.
