1847 N-2 R3 Large 7 over Small 7 VF30. Sharper by at least 5 points with some very fine hairline scratches on the cheek and in the field behind the portrait. Glossy medium brown with a spot of very fine reddish verdigris in the field under the chin. EDS, die state a. Fine horizontal die lines extend into the field from the dentil tips at star 13. The date repunching and fine die polishing lines are all clear and the so-called "Small 7" is clearly visible above the normal 7. DWH #1237.
