Trajan, 98-117 AD.Gold Aureus (7.3g), Rome mint, struck 103-111 AD. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right of Trajan. Reverse: Libertas standing left, holding pileus and rod. RIC 123; C. 70; BMC 11. Reverse die a little soft, but the lustrous and boldly-struck obverse more than makes up for it. Extremely Fine.
