Gadara in Decapolis. Caracalla. Silver Tetradrachm (14.03 g), AD 198-217. Cos. IV (AD 215-217). AVT KAI ANTωNINO-C C-EB, laureate head of Caracalla right, slight drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: ΔHMAPΧ EΞ YΠAT T Δ, eagle standing facing, head left, holding wreath in beak; between legs, the Three Graces standing facing. Prieur 1588. Rare. Lightly toned. Well struck with an area of reddish deposit on neck. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $500 - 600
