Lot 1618

1900 Liberty Nickel. PCGS graded MS-66. The surfaces are highly lustrous and each side has a light coating of golden patina that swirls and alternates between lighter and darker hues. A diminished impression is again the usual outlook for a coin of this year, but in contrast, this piece was left very boldly detailed by the recoil of the sharp dies; a fortunate occurrence. Pop 33; 5 in 67. (PCGS # 3861) .
Estimated Value $1,100 - 1,200.

Realized $1,438
