1861 $3 Gold. PCGS graded MS-62. A hint of light gplden toning. Glistening fields rise and fall with original golden mint bloom. Against this are set serious, satiny design elements with only a few light hairlines in the fields restricting the grade. Especially bold strike. Low mintage: 5,959 pieces. Pop 15; 26 finer. (PCGS # 7982) .
