Aegina, c. 457-431 BC. AR Drachm (5.0 g). Land tortoise, seen from above. Reverse: Skew pattern divided incuse, double globular object in one section (astragalos?). SNG Cop. 521; Dewing 1690; SNG Delepierre 1546. Nearly complete tortoise on almost round flan. Banker's mark(?) on shell. Toned. Very Fine.
