Attica. Athens, Near Eastern Imitation, 5th century BC. AR Obol (0.9 g). Head of Athena right, wearing crested helmet. Reverse: Owl standing right, olive sprig at left. Svoronos pl. 17, 39-41; Cf. SNG ANS Palestine 15ff. Sharply struck on good metal. Lightly toned. Very handsome for one of these. Extremely Fine.
