Sicily. Syracuse, c. 480-475 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.7 g). Charioteer in walking quadriga right, Nike above, crowning horses. Reverse: Diademed head of Arethusa right, four dolphins around clockwise; ethnic around. Boeh. 124; SNG ANS 34. Some smoothing at exergue of obverse. Some minor scattered porosity on reverse, but the portrait quite pleasing. About Fine / Very Fine.
