1889-CC. ICG graded EF-45. Low mintage issue (only 350,000 were struck). The Carson Mint had closed in 1885, only to be reopened late in 1889 when there was time to strike this small mintage of Morgan Dollars. Little was it known at the time how this would create a future numismatic rarity (PCGS # 7190) .
