Lot 1379

1890-CC Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65 Prooflike. A nice white coin. Boldly struck. A lustrous example whose vivid wintry blast of white color on the devices undulates and billows atop the mirrored surface like a Mount Everest snowcap. Where an ineffectual imprint is sometimes left by the rebound of the dies that struck 1890-CC's coinage, the opposite is in fact the case here: devices show crystal clarity and abnormal detail in the centers. The only mark worth reporting is a small one on Liberty's chin. Bidders be on the alert, you may face stiff competition. Pop 10; none finer (PCGS # 7199) .
Estimated Value $6,000 - 6,500.

Realized $6,900
