1902, $20 National Bank Note. Fr-658. Most of Seattle's founders came from families whose generations had moved steadily westward with the frontier. They were hard workers who struggled against rural hardships. In many of these ways, Dexter Horton typified Seattle's earliest citizens. He earned his way in Pacific Northwest settlement with physical labor -- but eventually achieved prosperity as a merchant and banker. Horton was born near Seneca Lake, N.Y., on Nov. 15, 1825. PCGS graded Very Fine 20PPQ.
Estimated Value $200 - 300.

Realized $265
