Lot 1272

1908. PCGS graded MS-65 PQ. CAC Approved. Lovely rich golden toning. Sun-fresh gold gleams underneath the toning, indeed glowing with gold satin luster, and fully original with a near-perfect strike. Taking stock of this second key aspect of the grade, this piece has near knife-edged devices throughout, including headdress feathers, rather than a soft, mushy strike as sometimes seen (PCGS # 7939) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,250.
This is part of the #3 ranked PCGS Registry Set.

Realized $3,910
