Lot 1183

1920-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-64. Satiny lustre and untoned. This coin emits attractive silver color, with no marks or problems, and is very choice for the MS64 grade. Devices are sharp in almost all areas, as struck, as desired by collectors, including much of Liberty's head and hand (there is even a visible split-thumb). It differs in important details from the run of the mill 1920-S in this condition. At times, the grading services tend to miss strike irregularities when they aren't too arresting, but this lovely 1920-S half dollar has the grade assignment and general detail most wanted by collectors (PCGS # 6582) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,200.
