1916 Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. First year of issue. Lovely natural toning. Great eye appeal. A satiny gem with richly imbued luster that underlies the nicely toned surface. Adequately struck for the date, indeed, about as fine as this 1916 issue is ever found with only minor lightness in the design at center. A. A. Weinman would have loved this one! (His AW monogram is set in incuse letters below the eagle's tail.) Pop 67; 4 in 67 (PCGS # 6566) .
