Lot 1141

1848 N-37 R4 VF35. Five points sharper but there are some nicks in the obverse fields, strongest left of star 11. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. EDS. There is a shallow low spot in the field at the bust tip, and the 18 in the date is weakly struck thanks to additional debris on the die. For some reason, most examples of this variety have similar die clogs on the obverse.
Estimated Value $150-UP.

Realized $127
