Lot 1093

1847 N-20 R3 NGC graded MS65 Brown. Frosty light chocolate and steel with traces of mint color on the reverse. The surfaces are satiny and attractive. There are a couple tiny ticks hidden in the hair right of the earlobe, a faint swipe of slightly darker toning from star 8 down to the inner hair bun, and a tiny planchet chip in the dentils off the end of the wreath ribbon. MDS with fine radial die flowlines covering the fields on both sides. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the NGC Label. Pop 3; None finer in Brown at NGC for the variety.
Estimated Value $600-UP.
