1796 S-88 R4. About Good-3. Liberty Cap type. Several points sharper with very fine roughness covering the planchet and a couple dull scratches at the top of the head. The 17 in the date was carefully strengthened while the 96 is easily readable without any "help." The legends are complete as well except for weakness inside the wreath. Slightly glossy dark steel and olive.
