Lot 1007

1855 N-4 R1 Upright 55. NGC graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Lustrous light bluish steel and olive with traces of mint color remaining on the obverse and 25% of the red showing on the reverse. The surfaces are satiny and offer outstanding eye appeal, especially on the obverse. The only notable mark is a tiny speck of dirt or slab plastic nestled against the left base of the first T in STATES. This could be removed quite easily, of course. Nicely struck EDS, die state a, prior to any die cracks or cuds. The usual hoard die state for the variety. Our grade is MS63.
Estimated Value $600-UP.

Realized $863
