Lot 1

1840 N-1 R2 Small Date MS60. Glossy light olive brown and tan. The surfaces are satiny and very attractive. The only mark is a small spot of darker chocolate toning in the field close before the neck. M-LDS, die state b. The fine repunching seen under the 8 in the early state has been lapped off the die. Great sharpness and eye appeal for the grade. Tied for CC#5 in the Grellman census. DWH #2249.
Estimated Value $500-UP.
