1909-S $5 Indian. NGC graded MS-65. A visual stunner, with some of the most incredible, orange-gold sheen possible on this unusual, incuse type. Fully struck, even down to the crisp mintmark. As late as the middle of 2002, this date was still unknown in Gem condition at NGC. Today, this piece is tied with one other as the only 2 NGC graded MS-65 examples. They just don't come any better than this -- literally!
