1807 S-271 R1 Comet Obverse F12. Sharpness VF20 but covered with extremely fine granularity. No marks, but there are traces of soft greenish verdigris in protected areas, mostly on the reverse. No contact marks. Slightly glossy chocolate and steel brown. Looks nicer than the description might imply. Nicely struck E-MDS. The "Comet" flaw in the field behind the head is outlined and slightly raised but not yet strong.
