Immaculate "War of 1812" Bust Half. ICG graded MS-67. Brilliant silvery luster with delicate lilac hues, sharply struck, and nearly perfect. Even under a 14x loop, the cataloguer can find hardly anything in the way of a detraction worth mentioning--oh maybe some minuscule contact ticks by Liberty's mouth. Multiple diebreaks on the obverse, including the bisecting swoop of a fine diebreak from the 6th star right through Liberty's head to the second 1 in the date. A real Gem, a beauty which inexplicably escaped the awful war of this year, when the Redcoats re-invaded their former colonies and even burned the White House.
