Lot 912

1810 S-283 R2. PCGS graded EF-40. Turban Head. Frosty dark chocolate and steel with a tiny splash of reddish chocolate toning at the top of the bust and lighter steel brown toning in some of the protected areas on the reverse. No notable evidence of corrosion or verdigris, but here is a bit of microscopic crud dusted over the reverse suggesting this cent may benefit from a proper bath. There are a few light scratches across the top of the head plus a half dozen very dull pinpricks around the 10 in the date. MDS. Our grade is net VF30.
Estimated Value $1,500-UP.

Realized $1,725
