1794 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. Fine-15. Retoned to a black biscuit. Excellent hair detail on Liberty and feather detail on the eagle. Ever popular as the first year of issue, with a mintage of 23,000 and change. Most were worn well below this grade, lost or melted. Few are available for collectors. Later die state with the reverse crack near the first S of STATES and another through the last S and F of OF.
