Lot 892
1941 Washington Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66. Must be from the same set as the NGC PR66 half dollar (which see) that we ranted on about. Obverse is an exquisite blend of sunset gold and bluish mauve iridescence, while the other side is mostly white with a mere blush of that gold. And, oh yeah: as fine technically as any PR67 you will ever find.
