1888 $1 Gold Indian. Population of 12 with 10 higher. NGC graded Proof 65 Cameo. A stunning gem cameo proof dollar in deep yellow gold. We note a faint "dimple" on her cheek, mentioned mainly for identification purposes. Although 1079 proofs were struck, a healthy mintage at the time, few have survived as choice as this little jewel.
