Four Space Sterling Silver Proof Sets. Consists of: Men in Space Series First Edition, by the Danbury Mint, 21 sterling silver medals (12.6 oz.). Together with America in Space First Edition, 36 sterling silver proof medals each in a custom holder (31.1 oz.). Together with: Project Apollo (Issued in 1970) by the Franklin Mint (2 sets). Each set containing 20 medals, each .44 oz. sterling silver. These medals were struck from medal returned from the epic moon voyage of Apollo XIII. Total of 61.3 oz. sterling silver. Lot of 77 medals.
