Lot 825
1798 S-147 R5- Style I Hair with Large 8 VG8. Sharpness F15 but there are small patches of reddish corrosion at the lips, above the hair ribbon, and at AMER. A few specks of greenish verdigris are mixed into the toning on both sides. A long, strong nick through the E in AMERICA is the only significant sign of contact. Dark olive brown with lighter chocolate and steel brown toning covering the devices. The date is strong and the legends are complete.
