1811 S-287 R2 Turban Head. PCGS graded AU-58. Lustrous steel and light olive brown. The surfaces are satiny and offer excellent eye appeal. The only marks are a very light hairline scratch from the base of the 1 into the field under the bust tip and an area of slightly darker toning just right of the D in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state V, with narrow rim breaks at stars 2 & 4. Called AU50 Average Plus and tied for CC#13 in the Noyes census, photo #39239. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 1 finer in 64.
