Lot 766

1916 Liberty Standing Quarter Dollar. NGC graded MS-63 Full Head. Brilliant white. Swirling frosty luster rounds out this choice coin's list of memorable attributes. Given the proper amount of strike pressure, the coin would have been fully brought up by the dies. However, there are a few soft areas that are often encountered on 1916 standing Liberty quarter dollars, including Liberty's shield and head, but these are minor drawbacks, given 1916's extremely low mintage. Only 52,000 were made; nearly all reached circulation. Pop 23 (PCGS # 5705) .
Estimated Value $17,500 - 20,000.
