1853 N-19 R1. MS-60. Repunched 853. Lustrous chocolate brown, the reverse a few shades lighter than the obverse. The fields are satiny and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. The only marks are some light nicks on the face, including one on the nose before the eye. Sharply struck EDS, die state a. The repunching on the 853 is crisp, strongest on the 3, as usual.
