Lot 731

1853 N-13 R1. MS-63. Repunched 1. Lustrous light chocolate brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Attractive satiny mint frost covers this cent and the eye appeal is outstanding. The only marks are a tiny spot of darker toning near the hair above the eye and a couple tiny ticks on the right side of the O in ONE. M-LDS, die state b. The points from E in CENT are gone but the repunching under the base of the 1 remains clear.
Estimated Value $250-UP.
Ex Abe Kosoff 12/9/52:935-R. E. Naftzger, Jr. (via Bill Noyes and Rod Burress) 11/02-Phyllis Thompson.
