1852 N-6 R2. AU-50 Plus. Obverse Rim Cud. Lustrous light chocolate and steel brown. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. Close to AU55 but there is a shallow planchet void on the rim right of star 9 and a less obvious one on the rim over star 8 (both as struck). LDS, die state c, with a large, strong rim cud break on the right side of the obverse. A nice example of this popular and impressive die state.
