1851 N-25 R3-. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. Choice lustrous chocolate and bluish steel with at least 10% of the original mint red remaining on both sides. Excellent eye appeal, but there are a few contact marks. These include a couple tiny pinscratches right of star 6, a few more under IC in AMERICA, and a shallow scrape on the base of the second T in STATES into the leaf below. M-LDS, die state b. The points down from the throat are gone but the short spike down from the dentils left of star 8 is visible. Our grade is MS60+, tied for CC#4 in the Grellman census.
