1845 N-15 R4+ AU50. Glossy light olive brown and chocolate with a spot of darker olive brown toning under the earlobe. The only other marks are a few dull microscopic ticks right of star 5, and these are barely visible under strong magnification. Rare very early die state (VEDS), die state a, with strong horizontal die lines over star 13 plus additional unlisted fine die lines elsewhere on the obverse. Tied for CC#7 honors overall but equal to the finest known of the EDS in the Grellman census. Estimated Value $200-UP
