Spanish Colonies. Large Silver Ingot from the Atocha. Total weight 63 pounds troy. A typical "loaf" of silver from the Atocha. Several marks for manifest, fineness, Circular tax stamps, shipper monograms and silver master marks (CLVIII - IIUCCCLXXX - VS - Z - V). The Atocha sunk west of Key West, Florida in 1622. Unfortunately the certificate has been lost.
