1843 N-8 R2+ VG10. Glossy chocolate and steel brown. Smooth and free of defects, just worn. LDS, die state b, with strong crumbling under the nose and at the lips. The die line at the inner curl is gone. A relatively humble cent with an impressive provenance. DWH #0912.
