Lot 549

1848 N-6 R1 AU55. Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown with traces of faded mint red showing on the reverse. Excellent eye appeal for the grade, just a touch of rub on the highest points from mint state. The notable marks are a tick on the chin and a dull one on the front edge of the neck. M-LDS, die state d. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective and the section outside the crack at MERI is starting to shift outward as a retained cud.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
Ex R. S. Brown, Jr., Superior 9/30/1986:1137-Carvin Goodridge collection (lot ticket included).

Realized $460
