A 2-piece lot of Sasanian Signet Seals, ca. 5th Century AD. 1) A red carnelian polished scaraboid seal. Flat side engraved with the forepart of a stag. Pierced for attachment. Measures: 21 X 19 X 20 mm. 2) A polished dark green stone scaraboid seal. Flat side engraved a cross of four animals protruding from the center all facing left, three rams and one stag; flanking the ram opposite the stag, moon on left, and star on right. Pierced for suspension. Measures: 17 X 16 X 14 mm.
