1870 Silver Three Cents. NGC graded MS-64. Typically frosty for the issue, the choice surfaces that are free of singularly distracting bagmarks. We notice a slight deviation in the sharp relief seen, mainly in the centers of the coin where the shield outline failed to completely fill the dies and so merges slightly with the star. Attractively toned. Pop 29; 10 in 65; 7 in 66. Only 3000 minted (PCGS # 3691) .
